Liquid Screed Contractors

Based in Exeter we cover the whole of the South West of England including Cornwall, Devon, Dorset and Somerset with our Liquid Screeding service. We have over 10 years experience in floor screeding and in the past we have covered the majority of screed types but we now feel that with liquid screed (anhydrite and cementitious) being a superior product over the conventional sand & cement screed that we now must move forward and we are achieving this goal by purely dealing with liquid screed. You will see below that liquid screed really does tick all the right boxes against the traditional method.

Liquid Screed

Liquid screed is a thick, self-leveling mixture of water, cement, and aggregates that's applied to the floor. It's also known as flow screed or pumpable screed. It is pumped onto the concrete subfloor from a mixing truck and then spread across the area and leveled using a dappling bar. Once dry, flooring such as tiles, carpet, or wood can be laid on top.

This product is ever growing in its popularity and since a decrease in costs it not only competes on price with traditional screed it also beats it hands down with the installation and performance. As it is so cost effective it makes it the popular choice for builds ranging in size from small extensions to new schools.

Rapid Application

Our screeds can be applied at rapid rates of up to 1000 square metres per day. Liquid screed is more efficient compared to other methods of screed Also known as free-flowing screeds, liquid screeds are ideal for projects that require a level and smooth surface before floor finishes are installed. They are compatible with underfloor heating and will help to improve the efficiency of these systems.
